CLAUDIA ROSS
PRINCIPAL & CEO

Claudia Ross is the Principal and CEO of Cross Marketing, a public relations and marketing company in San Francisco with representation in New York City, Los Angeles and partners in each major market nationwide. She has served as a Marketing Instructor at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, has been invited to speak at UC Berkeley and University of San Francisco's Marketing and Business Schools for her expertise in strategic marketing, and has been featured in 2009 book Y In the Workplace and on national Blogtalk Radio. From 1997 to 2006, Ross was the Northwest Advertising Director for both Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire magazines, where she worked with a variety of fashion, beauty and non-endemic accounts providing sales and marketing partnerships to companies such as Nike and Gap Inc. In 2005, Claudia Castillo Ross founded Cross Marketing in San Francisco, dedicated to pursuing a cross between marketing and philanthropy. As Chairman of the Board for Raphael House, board member for Children of Shelters and Family Builders, and a partner for several non-profit organizations, Ross has been active in the community and served as Chair for several large-scale fundraising programs. She is committed to growing her marketing company by providing multi- platform marketing and public relations services for clients such as CHANEL, Louis Vuitton, Saks Fifth Avenue, Banana Republic, Restoration Hardware, John Varvatos, and Goyard, as well as a variety of non-profit organizations in the Bay Area. Ross is the national "Style Expert" for Judith Ripka, and has appeared on national television shows such as the E! Red Carpet Pre-Show for the 2008 Emmy’s and the 2009 SAG Awards, and on Lifetime’s BLUSH series.

Claudia Castillo Ross has been named one of the top three PR women in San Francisco by San Francisco Magazine in its July 2006 Best of the Bay issue, and again in the March 2017 edition of the Nob Hill Gazette. She was recently featured on ABC 7's View from the Bay as a philanthropist and "Party Planner Extraordinaire" and in W Magazine's January 2010 issue as their Guest Style Guru.

Claudia Castillo Ross has lived in Europe, Latin America and most recently, in the Bay Area with her husband and two sons.


Vicky Morel

VICKY MOREL
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Vicky Morel joins the Cross Marketing Group as its first CFO. She comes to Cross with extensive experience in budget and finance, human resources, and public relations. Most recently she acted for 20 years as Director of Business Services and Human Resources in the Chancellor's Immediate Office at the University of California, Berkeley. She has also worked as Sales Executive and has served on the Executive Board for Darlington & Simpson Rolling Mills (DSRM), Inc., a major corporation in the steel industry based in Houston, Texas and in San Francisco. In her time at DSRM, Vicky's work took her to the far corners of the Western Hemisphere, including England, Canada, the U.S., Mexico and South America. Vicky has lived in Colombia, Houston, Texas and Northern and Southern California. She is married and has a daughter and two grandchildren. Her interests are cooking, gardening, and spending time with her two young grandsons.


Mark Olson

MARK OLSON
ACCOUNT MANAGER

With a wealth of experience from the luxury fashion and journalism worlds, Mark Olson brings a unique skill set to the Cross team and clients. Mark joined Cross Marketing with a BS in Communication from Boston University, a passion for lifestyle communication, and a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing luxury landscape.

With experience successfully launching brands and opening boutiques in the Bay Area, Mark works as a publicist and account manager at Cross Marketing. He prides himself on an understanding of the individual needs of each client and the unique media landscape in San Francisco and beyond. 


BETH SOTO
ACCOUNT MANAGER

Beth brings her passion for architecture and design to the Cross Marketing team along with many years of experience in advertising and marketing. Following seven years in advertising where she executed branding campaigns for Yahoo!, Alaska Airlines, Vail Resorts and more; Beth joined Rock Creek Winery to manage all marketing and events.

She then spent five years in real estate as a partner and lead designer with Twelve Wildwood. She joins the Cross team as a consultant and account manager with a keen eye for design and understanding of the importance of ROI partnered with exceptional service

CHRISTINA SOZA
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND EVENTS

Christina Soza is a recent graduate from Saint Mary's College of CA, where she earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Communications. 

Her interest in Communications sparked after working for the Office of College Communication department at Saint Mary's College. She has had the opportunity to work with The CW Network to cover the 150th anniversary of the College. She interned for popular San Francisco On-Air Personality with one of Univision's radio networks. Her range of experiences has led her to build lasting relationships and network in all aspects of the Communications field.

Her passions include socializing, promoting, event planning, volunteering and traveling. She has a strong interest in fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle. 

Christina comes to Cross Marketing, with a strong enthusiasm and ambition for public relations, event planning, and building new relationships. 


ODRÁN WALDRON
COPYWRITER

Odrán Waldron is a recent graduate from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, where he earned a Master of Arts in Biography and Creative Nonfiction. Prior to this, Odrán had graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Dublin City University.

Odrán’s media work has included an internship at Radió Teilifís Éireann, the Irish state broadcaster, and work at The Irish News, the north of Ireland’s biggest newspaper. He served as the arts editor for Dublin City University’s only independent student newspaper, The College View, and contributed sports analysis to the university’s radio site, DCUfm.

Odrán has just moved to San Francisco from Ireland in the hopes of learning from a new culture of media and communications. He is a published writer of fiction, nofiction and journalism. His interests include all forms of the arts, from television to painting, sports and interior design. San Francisco is Odrán’s fourth city in as many years, reflecting his passion for travel.
