 GOYARD STORE OPENING February 2006 UNION SQUARE, SAN FRANCISCO For the first time in Goyard's history, San Francisco opened its doors to the public with the only free-standing Goyard boutique outside of Paris. This monumental celebration took place on February 3, 2006 with an evening designed by Riccardo Benavides of IDEAS and a guest list of San Francisco's most fashionable set. With over 550 in attendance, the event took place not only in the Goyard boutique, but also in the Westin St. Francis' famed Oak Room, which was transformed into a French night club for the occasion. Guests were treated to French cheese, caviar and champagne and "Goyard-tini's." Proceeds from the party were the highest among all Swarovski Fashion Week Live events nation wide, and 10% of the evening's sales went to support the Edgewood Center for Children.
